About half of the ride is along the coast and then you go through Apalachicola National Forest for about a quarter of the ride. The views of the Gulf are incredible and the Forest has plenty of shaded spots to stop and take a short break

1. Head south on FL-30A/N Tyndall Pkwy/US-30A/US-98 toward Hogan St Continue to follow US-98 77.4 mi
2. Continue on Ave B SE/FL-30 Continue to follow Ave B SE 1.4 mi
3. Continue straight onto Hwy-98 E/FL-30/US-319/US-98 Continue to follow US-319 19.4 mi
4. Sharp left at Rose St 0.7 mi
5. Slight right at Smith Creek Rd 8.4 mi
6. Head northwest on Smith Creek Rd toward Mack Lake Rd 25.0 mi
7. Turn left at Blountstown Hwy/FL-20/FL-267 Continue to follow FL-20 49.5 mi
8. Turn left at SR-231/US-231 Continue to follow US-231 17.7 mi
