One of the stupidest bike lanes in Ottawa is the tiny scettrh that is painted for cyclists on Baseline Road between Woodroffe and MacDonald's and which peters out before it gets to Navaho, where traffic can make a right turn. This is a dangerous spot because a cyclist has to leave the bike lane and move into the traffic lane which is the middle lane before getting to the right turn area. After that there is no more bike lane on Baseline, which doesn't seem helpful to cyclists.
