| Places to stop: | Any of the bridges offer good views of different parts of the lake. If you have the time you should check out Cassells Boykin County Park outside of Zavalla. |

| Route: | 1. Leave Nacogdoches going southeast on Wooden Rd/ FM-2259 off of the 224 Loop. 2. Ride 2259 to the intersection with FM-226 and turn right. 3. Go through Etoile, and turn right on Tx-103. 4. After you cross the bridge, turn onto FM-1669 and go south to Huntington. 5. Turn left onto FM-2109/ Pine St. 6. After entering Zavalla, hang a hard left and turn onto Tx-147 towards Broaddus. 7. Just before Broaddus, turn right onto FM-83 to Pineland. 8. At Pineland, turn south on US-96 to Jasper. |
